Janine Eggert (born in Lübeck, Germany) is a visual artist whose practice moves between sculpture, installation, video, and print. Her work explores the intersections of material, tech- nology, and perception — transforming industrial and mechanical structures into poetic sys- tems of form and energy. Eggert’s approach combines sculptural precision with a sensibility for process and transformation, often involving collaborative or experimental methods that question the relation between human and material agency.
She studied Fine Arts at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg (HFBK) and at Ar.Co, Centro de Arte & Comunicação Visual, Lisbon. Her works have been exhibited internationally, including in Zurich, New York, Miami, London, Vienna, and Valencia, with recent solo and duo exhi- bitions at Westwerk (Hamburg), Künstlerhaus Göttingen, Galerie im Marstall (Ahrensburg), ACUD Galerie (Berlin), BcmA Gallery (Berlin), Kelder Projects (London), and Künstlerhaus Lauenburg. In 2023 she was awarded a fellowship at Villa Aurora, Los Angeles, and in 2026 she will be a fellow of the Roger Willemsen Foundation. Since 2005, she has also been work- ing in collaboration with Philipp Ricklefs.
